Kathy Lawrenson is the Managing Director of McKavanagh Engineering Services Pty Ltd and has been involved in the industry since 2002. Elected Secretary of the RSOQ (Users Group) in 2004 and President of RSUG in March 2015. Kathy’s main focus as President of the group is to encourage a positive safety culture and continuing development of behaviours and values that support the safe and secure use of radiation sources in industry.

SECRETARY & TREASURER: PHILIP ALLANSON

Phil Allanson works at MES as a business development manager. His career began in nuclear medicine, transitioned to emergency and medical duties in the RAAF, and later shifted to health/IT in the business sector. Phil found his passion in the radiation protection industry after a stint in mineral exploration during his science studies. His primary role is to assist the President in maintaining the effective operation of the RSUG.
